· The view outside the hotel room
· Funny faces on the tour bus =D
After we stayed in Philadelphia for the night, the next day, we left for the historical sites of the area and D.C. Washington.
At Philadelphia

Before Washington D.C., there was Philadelphia, and it was at this city, the founding fathers marked the beginning of the country...
· The Liberty Bell, which is famous for its crack..
· ..a crack that was caused by the long rings on President Washington's Birthday
· The Independance Hall, where the Decoration of Independance was drafted
· At the entrance of the Air & Space Museum of D.C.
· ..and the view of the opposite side
· Spacemen behind glass!
· Replica of a small part of the space station
· Plane of the 50's~
The uneasy journey to D.C.

Some two hours were needed for the bus to get to Washington D.C. from Philadelphia. In this short and, yet, long journey, fate was not very easy on us. In the middle of no where, our tour bus broken down. It took nearly an hour before a new bus came to rescure us! Nevertheless, we did got to D.C. and continued our tour, minus a proper lunch... And believe me, this was not the end of it...
So, as a lunch break, the tour guild took us to the Air & Space Museum. As we looked at the exhibitions, we had the most expensive McDonald lunch ever! ($7 for a meal!!)
"X" Marks the Spot

Using the Washington Monument as a center, the main structures of D.C. occupied the four directions of East, West, North, and South - The Capital Hill, where the Senate meetings take place; the White House, the official residence of the President; Jefferson Memorial, which over looks the White House; and the Lincoln Memorial, which face was often squash flat by the penney souvenir machines! Many of the buildings seem to be under construction, so we only photo the backs of them! Nevertheless, the front and the back looked quite similar~
· ..and the postcard-like view of it

· ..It represented Korea's division at the 38 degree longtitute after the war.
- The Park of War Memorials -

In front of the Lincoln Memorial was a park surrounding the Mall. Placed in this park were the memorials of the Vietnam War and the Korean War. Simple as they were, the displays gave an abstract image of these historic episodes..
